The Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed the deaths of four more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

With the latest deaths, the country’s death toll from the pandemic increased to 866.

The fatalities comprised three women, 45, 65 and 68, from regions Three, Four and Six, and a man who was 59, from Region Four. One of them was fully vaccinated, while another was unvaccinated, another partially vaccinated and the vaccination status of the other was unknown.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard showed 122 new infections from the latest test results.

It also showed that there were 28 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 125 persons in institutional isolation and 3,624 persons in home isolation.
