Dey, Griffith and Moses rode home with $10,000 apiece.

On the distaff side, Clavecia Spencer was the first female cross the tape while Mario Washington was the first junior rider across the line. The resurgent Robin Persaud was the first veteran rider.

Later in the evening, Thomas ran a superb mile to pocket the $20,000 first prize ahead of Winston Missigher and

Devaughn Barrington who finished first and second runners up.

All proceeds will be donated to the Guyana Cancer Society.
