MVP Sports makes donation to Mocha Village Cup organiser

MVP Sports joined the growing list of sponsors to support the community tournament, the Mocha Village Cup, by donating an undisclosed sum yesterday to the event organiser Ballers Entertainment during a simple but significant presentation ceremony.

The handing-over process occurred at the company’s Giftland Mall location, Turkeyen. Store Supervisor, Annalisa Banwarie, handed over the timely financial assistance to Vice President of Ballers Entertainment Clayton Reece.

The tournament is set to conclude tomorrow [Sunday] at the community’s Basketball Tarmac, with Lack Ah Scene penciled in to oppose City for the prestigious title.

Lack Ah Scene earned their place in the championship match after defeating Dell Superbet 3-1, while City overcame Agricola 3-2 in the semi-final round. The losing semi-finalists will contest the third-place playoff.

Over $700,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs in the competition which is currently in its third iteration. The other sponsors of the event include Guinness Brand, Hungry Helpers, and the Mocha Arcadia NDC.
