Up Like 7, Team Anti-Social, Red Triangle and Team Family were among the teams to seal a berth to the main draw when the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets, East Bank/West Demerara qualifiers concluded yesterday at the Pouderoyen Tarmac.

In the East Bank section, Red Triangle edged Red Force 2-1 on sudden death penalty kicks after regulation time ended 1-1. Similarly, Team Family defeated KK Gunners 1-0 on penalty kicks after regulation time ended scoreless.

In the West Demerara division, Up Like 7 battled past White Shop Ballers 2-1 on sudden death penalty kicks after normal time ended 1-1.

On the other hand, Anti-Social edged Goal Getters 1-0 after normal time ended 0-0. In the second round of matches in the section, Up Like 7 downed Front Street Ballers 2-0 whilst Anti-Social squeaked past Patentia 21.

The main draw of the championship commences on Friday at the same venue. The other match days are February 11th and 17th.
